You will be supporting the managers and directors with their portfolio of Trusts, and personal tax clients, in carrying out trust administration duties, helping with the preparation of trust accounts and tax returns to ensure all compliance work is completed on time, accurately and efficiently.The ideal candidate will either have trust experience or be studying/qualified ATT or STEP. Individuals also looking to start a career in tax will be considered if they have the right skills and attitude to learning as training could be provided for the successful candidate.This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful individual to join a highly regarded and forward-thinking firm with genuine scope for career development.Duties:Prepare accounts for a portfolio of trusts using CCH trust accounting software; Prepare trust tax returns using CCH software and accompanying forms R185 for the beneficiary/iesPrepare inheritance tax returns for relevant property trusts at ten-year anniversaries and on the occasions of proportionate chargesPrepare inheritance tax returns for qualifying interest in possession trusts on the occasions of a charge;Dealing with FATCA and Common Reporting Standard compliance requirements.Dealing with the Trust Registration ServicePrepare tax returns and repayment claim forms for beneficiariesOther trust administration duties such as helping to arrange payments and managing client bank accounts.Skills:Ideally, but not necessary, be ATT or STEP part qualified or qualified.Have great listening and problem-solving skillsBe well organised and able to manage multiple activities simultaneouslyHave the ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise under pressureHave strong accuracy and attention to detailBe willing to learn and develop your skillsYou will experience a combination of on-the-job learning and structured training and discover a culture that thrives on fresh thinking focusing on helping our clients to succeed.
