The vacancy We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated assistant investment surveyor to play a key role in the management and delivery of our home investment projects, ensuring our homes are a source of pride and stability for our residents. This role involves supporting various home improvement activities, including cyclical maintenance, major repairs, and a range of project and contract management responsibilities. You'll assist in driving home investment projects that align with our service delivery targets, key performance indicators, and budgetary goals. Your role will involve supporting the management of contracts to ensure smooth execution of planned and cyclical programs, while contributing to major works projects from start to finish. You'll also assist in surveying assets and gathering critical data to inform our investment decisions. You will be integral in the procurement, contracting, and mobilisation phases, helping to ensure value for money, innovation, and best practices are achieved. Your responsibilities will include preparing contract documentation, ensuring quality assurance, and authorising completed works for payment. In addition to your technical expertise, your ability to engage effectively with customers, leaseholders, and external stakeholders is vital, as you may attend meetings and liaise with regulatory authorities as needed. This role requires close monitoring of contractor performance, upholding high standards to ensure a quality service that complies with all relevant legislation and industry guidelines. This role is available as a full time fixed term contract until the end of March 2025. You'll be based out of our Tewkesbury office with regular travel across Gloucestershire.
