As a General Retail Assistant, you have a responsibility to provide excellent customer service, creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases. What you will be doing as a General Retail Assistant?
* Till operation and serving customer
* Stock replenishment and merchandising across all department
* Creating and maintaining fabulous product displays
* Assisting our customer across the Centre taking every opportunity to WOW.
* Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
* Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
* Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service.
* Knowledge of Garden Centre products preferred but not essential as full training will be given
* Strong customer service skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Great teamwork.

We are looking for Part Time Permanent Retail Assistants to join the team in our Howdens Garden Centre.
Our competitive rates of pay range from £9.58 to £11.46 dependent on age. These are weekend roles only. Hours for the positions available are 16 hours per week over 2 days Saturday, Sunday & 8 hours per week on Saturday.,
