About the role
You will have the opportunity to visit our construction sites both offshore and onshore, giving you a first-hand view of what the team is working towards.
* Gain valuable knowledge and experience of:
o the requirements to manage large complex offshore wind projects including:
o effective Health, Safety and Environmental Management
o building and maintaining common project management organisations
o communication and project progress management
o procurement/commercial and technical requirements
o what it takes to construct a windfarm in the offshore environment
* Actively support the team e.g. with:
o assisting the project team in the construction of an offshore wind farm
o project administrative tasks that will progress to managing defined scopes of work
o working closely with senior project management on the day to day running of the project
Job requirements and experience
* You´re an enrolled student in one of the following degree courses: Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or another relevant science or engineering discipline. Any study related to renewable energy or project management would be a real bonus.
* Your degree course is eligible for a year in industry placement.
* Looking at your current performance overview you are on track to graduate with a 2.1 or higher.
* You have very good verbal and written communication skills.
* You´re able to coordinate your own workload and to meet tight deadlines.
* Working in a diverse team environment and dealing with a range of stakeholders every day is something you feel comfortable with.
* You´re open to travel to other sites if needed. Travel expenses will be covered by us.
