THE POSITION We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Finance Assistant to join our Finance, Accounting, Controlling & Tax (FACT) team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This hybrid role offers the perfect balance of office and remote work, with a 3-working day week (Wednesday to Friday). 2 office-based days in our Bracknell Head Office and 1 day WFH. WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS ROLE - Impactful Work: You'll play a crucial role in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in our payment processes - Collaborative Environment: Work closely with cross-functional teams and support your colleagues in a dynamic and supportive setting - Professional Growth: Gain valuable experience with large ERP systems like SAP and enhance your skills in a business financial environment KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Maintain accurate HCO/HCP tracking for timely reporting to legal and compliance teams. - Ensure all payment request documents are correctly completed and authorized - Support the legal and compliance team with finance-related aspects of HCP/HCO payment processes - Set up new vendors and manage local pre-scanning and scanning activities for financial documents - Assist with the maintenance of corporate charge card schemes and handle accounts payable or vendor queries - Prepare ad-hoc analysis or summaries of company expenditure using SAP ERP and MS Office applications - Ensure process consistency across purchasing and financial suppliers in alignment with the local sourcing team - Provide administrative support and cover within the wider FACT team WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - Qualifications: 5 GCSEs or equivalent (including Maths and English).
