We are recruiting a Mechanical Bias Engineering Manager to join our team in London!
Role Summary:
1. Provide leadership to the engineering team and ensure that contractual commitments are met and exceeded.
2. Ensure development of contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reduction of WIP, debt, cost reduction, and contract growth are met and exceeded.
3. Ensure customer focus within all areas of operational activities and maintain effective relationships with key client contacts.
4. Responsible for day-to-day supervision, operations, and maintenance of all mechanical plant services, primarily PPM and reactive works.
5. Direct, instruct, and supervise all contractors and subcontractors, ensuring staff compliance with working practices.
6. Ensure the collection of the weekly building loads readings and carry out load assessments on UPS, HV/LV systems, reporting any major inconsistencies or abnormalities.
7. Ensure the shift log system is updated and complete, and that subcontractor visits are logged and any major incidents/problems are attended to.
8. Conduct regular reviews of operating procedures, making recommendations for improvement with appropriate working practices and emergency/contingency procedures with critical systems.
9. Maintain O&M manuals, test equipment, and as-built drawings.
10. Operate building plants in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and within the original design specification.
11. Assist in producing and constructing the current CEWAs and risk assessments used throughout all facilities and sites, ensuring that all work is inspected prior to the closure of work permits.

* 8am - 5pm (with flexibility)
Qualifications & Experience:
* Mechanical apprenticeship or time served.
* Experience working with building management systems including fault finding and operator use.
* Experience of leading a team of engineers.
* FM experience advantageous.
* Health & Safety Qualified i.e. IOSH and/or NEBOSH.
