Job Summary
The Organisational Development Practitioner will play a key role in embedding a culture of inclusion and compassion within the Trust. You will work closely with a small team of other practitioners and the wider People & Culture Team. You will act as a senior advisor to leaders across the Trust to help embed a variety of strategic OD initiatives that align with our People & Culture Strategy. You will work within an OD Consultancy cycle to ensure that this approach is held across the Trust, enabling leaders and teams to find positive solutions to complex problems.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone to join our team to support the development, and delivery of a professional and specialist organisational development consultancy service to meet the needs of the organisation, especially our frontline teams.
You will be instrumental in supporting our Trust Strategy, with a focus on delivering the priorities of our People & Culture Strategy.
This role works closely with the Head of Leadership and Organisational Development, and in consultation with the HR leadership team. You will help design and deliver or commission impactful staff engagement and team development interventions, events or activities relevant to different staff groups.

Job responsibilities
This role contributes to the development and delivery of the Trusts OD and staff engagement priorities to improve overall organisational performance and effectiveness. Working in line with NSFTs People and Culture Strategy, you will regularly assess OD needs and create, develop and implement OD strategies and initiatives including embedding of Trusts values.
We are looking for someone to provide a professional and specialist internal OD consultancy service. You will be working alongside HR Business Partners and their associated operational managers by providing specialist advice and support to understand, analyse, diagnose, and shape OD needs. You will also define strategies and plans to meet these needs and contribute to organisational effectiveness.

* Experience of developing and implementing Organisational Development strategies, plans, policies and procedures
* Experience of supporting teams and or individuals through change

* Experience of working in Organisational Development within the NHS
Skills Essential
* Ability to influence and persuade, adapting personal style to meet different situations
Qualifications Essential
* Degree and CIPD Professional Qualification (Graduate CIPD Member) plus additional training or equivalent experience
* Evidence of continuing professional development

* Coaching or mentoring qualification
* Accredited and experienced in using psychometric assessment tools
