Gleeds Asset Strategy team are searching for a Management level Construction Programme Manager, PMO Manager or PMO Consultant to join our Nottingham, London or Birmingham office, to provide construction PMO / Programme services, developing and delivering major programmes for public sector clients across the UK. You wil also take on management responsibilities within the team and be responsible for supporting business development in the region and nationally for new revenue streams, and support public sector clients to secure funding through business case development & support. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives Positively engaging with customers and developing, growing and maintaining customer relationships Delivering high quality services and deliverables ensuring that services meet our Customer’s requirements. Managing projects and/or programmes to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the business procedures Administering contracts as a contract administrator, employer’s agent or project manager. Producing and presenting to customers Identifying new business development opportunities and driving growth across the business units activities Managing service delivery for profit. Advising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or may arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance. Excellent knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies Extensive knowledge of construction technologies, sequences, methods and materials Excellent commercialbackground, including familiarity with contract conditions and procedures and ability to administer contracts (as contract administrator, employer’s agent and/or project manager) Sound understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts. Demonstrate experience of leading high performance multi-disciplinary project delivery teams Excellent communication skills - both oral and written. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changing environments. Excellent problem solving, negotiating skills, financial and numeracy management skills. Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily. Proficient networker. Specialist knowledge of a specific industry sector (i.e. Residential, Hotels, Commercial, Retail, Leisure, Education, or other). Ability to prepare first-class bids for services. Competent at negotiating sufficient fees to both complete services and generate required profit levels. Demonstrable evidence of delivering services to Clients and managing Client relationships. Demonstrable experience of timely interfacing with clients and key stakeholders at the highest level. Experience managing multiple projects Ability to work as part of a team and lead teams.
