This role will be a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract starting in July 2025 and will be paid London living wage. This role is based in Manchester.

This role will sit within the internal Sony Pictures Entertainment, International TV Production department where the team is spread across both Manchester and London. With a focus on developing and producing high end TV drama content and filming happening in various locations globally, this is a lively function with various projects happening at once.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a highly collaborative department with lots of potential projects on the horizon. The internship will be based within Sony’s in-house International Production team in Manchester. Although the main focus will be to support the Head of Production, there will be opportunity to work with and collaborate with all areas of the department, including development, pre and postproduction and alongside SPE’s corporate functions.
What you have:
* Ideally studying or finished media/Film/TV related degree or equivalent.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft office.
* Keen interest and basic understanding of the scripted TV industry.
* Organised with the ability to flex between numerous projects.
* A positive and proactive attitude.
* Have a strong inclination to take initiative and tackle problems independently.
* Will thrive working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and last-minute deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships internally and externally.
What you'll learn:
* Gain insight into what it takes to develop a show and sell it internationally, as well as how shows are produced locally in different markets across the globe.
* Working with the development and production team, you will have the opportunity to see the origins of how ideas are formed and sculpted within the company, to become fully formed scripts that can be turned into productions.
* You will be exposed to all aspects of the production process from development through to commissioning, to the greenlight process, then into production through postproduction onto delivery.
