Care Assistant (Nights) - Trafford Waters Care Home - Trafford
Our brand new care home in Trafford is looking for you!
Opening date: March 2025
We are delighted to be opening Trafford Waters Care Home in March 2025 and would like to invite you to come along for the exciting journey! Trafford Waters is based in the heart of the Trafford community, and we are ready to start building our elite team.
A career in care offers you stability, training to develop yourself, the team and home. At Tanglewood we are expanding our homes and our teams. We are enthusiastic about promoting you as an individual; if you have specific career aspirations within care, we will advocate any training you need including NVQ Level 2, 3, 4, 5 and so on to work your way up.
At Tanglewood we want you to reach your potential; we want you to be our next long-serving team member!
Responsibilities:
1. Helping support residents with getting ready for the day, outings, and activities while promoting their independence and supporting them to continue addressing their needs.
2. Accompanying residents with outings to shops, for walks, into the gardens, and being company for them while caring for their well-being.
3. Working with families to understand each resident's needs, desires, and purpose in their daily lives.
4. Accompanying residents with indoor and outdoor activities and ensuring activities are what each resident will enjoy, including drawing, quizzes, gardening, walks, and bowling.
5. Being the individual who supports the residents, keeping them company, and maintaining their purpose in life.
6. Keeping the residents safe, respecting their individuality and integrity.
This list is not exhaustive, and there are many aspects to being a carer at Tanglewood which tie in with our company values: to be empathetic with the residents, remember they are just like us; to be united as a team, innovative with your ideas, nurturing in nature, and compassionate towards others.
You don’t need experience to begin your career with us, so do get in touch. We value our staff, and if you want to make a difference for yourself and our residents, then apply!
