NHS Chemilab Pharmacies Ltd are looking for two qualified dispensers to support our practices on a full time basis, Monday-Friday 9am - 6:30pm, with an additional Saturday morning shift from 9am-1pm. We are an independent group of pharmacies, with branches across Watford, Hertfordshire providing care from the heart of the communities we serve. The successful candidate will play a full and active role as part of the practices multi-disciplinary team.

Main duties of the job
* Provide an efficient, accurate and professional dispensing service to our patients.
* Label, dispense and check acute and repeat medication.
* Maintain a neat and organised dispensary.
* Support the team with additional duties applicable to the role.
* Assist the MCA and Pharmacist team with providing medication counselling.
* Administration tasks associated within the dispensary team.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* You will have at least a Diploma Level 2/3 Dispensary or equivalent Pharmacy Services qualification.
Experience
* At least 2 years (or equivalent) dispensary and pharmacy experience.
* Excellent clinical and medication knowledge.
* Understanding and experience of working as a dispenser in a community pharmacy practice setting.
* The commitment to continue to learn new skills and develop your career.
* The confidence to work as part of a pharmacy practice team and using your own initiative in decision making.
* The ability to be adaptable and flexible in your approach.
* Excellent patient facing inter-personal communication skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medication.
