Job Description
The Business Process Architect will play a critical role in shaping the way Rotork operates by driving the design, optimization, and governance of business processes across the organization. Working in partnership with the Senior Business Transformation Manager, this position will work closely with our Global Process Owners (GPOs), supporting them to align and standardize processes, ensure their effectiveness, meet our strategic goals, and drive sustainable growth.
With a strong focus on leveraging Microsoft Dynamics D365, the Business Process Architect will work across all business areas, supporting the development of global standards, driving process optimization, and ensuring our processes support successful adoption of the ERP system across Rotork’s global business.
The Business Process Architect will be responsible for leading and delivering development of business processes in a range of key Business Transformation initiatives to deliver the Rotork Growth+ strategy and have sponsorship and visibility at the Board level of the business.
This is a unique opportunity to influence Rotork's transformation journey, partnering with key stakeholders to harmonize processes across geographies and business units, ensuring alignment with Rotork's core values and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:
Process Design & Optimization: Analyse, design, and implement end-to-end business processes to enhance operational efficiency and scalability. Including development and maintenance of process documents and training materials.
D365 Expertise required: Leverage extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 to support and guide process integration, system configuration, and user adoption.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with our Global Process Owners, business leaders, functional, project, and operational teams to understand requirements and develop solutions that align with Rotork's strategic goals.
Proactively engage and manage stakeholder needs responding with agility to the changing needs of the business. Takes a broad end-to-end perspective and builds robust agreed plans that clearly link strategies and plans to objectives and KPIs. Ensuring all processes comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards
Process Change Management: execute change management initiatives, ensuring successful adoption of new processes and technologies across the organization.
Governance & Documentation: Collaboration in the further development and maintenance of process governance frameworks, ensuring consistency and compliance across all business units.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor process performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement, aligning with Rotork's commitment to innovation and excellence. Design best practice end-to-end processes & customer journeys: Use appropriate process design and improvement methodologies and tools to build efficient and effective processes that deliver for the needs of customers and the global Rotork business
Qualifications
Qualifications
* Degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, or a related field
* Expert knowledge of structured process, innovation, problem-solving tools/methodologies and customer journey mapping. LEAN, Kaizen or Six Sigma background would be desirable
* Proven track record of supporting and delivering large-scale transformation projects, including identifying bottlenecks, streamlining operations, and implementing new processes or technologies.
* Experience in driving change initiatives, including supporting the communication and training required to ensure successful adoption of new processes
* Excellent people management with a proven ability to motivate and lead multi-disciplined teams
* Experience in managing and delivering multiple projects/activities with varying priorities
* Strong analytical background, highly numerate with an ability to tell stories through data, acute attention to detail
* Skilled at impressing and influencing key internal stakeholders and influencing across a matrix
* Innovative and creative approach that supports the Growth+ strategy and gains competitive advantage
* Excellent facilitation skills, able to influence teams and individuals collaboratively to achieve goals and objectives
* Background in Microsoft CE and Dynamics required.
