Position 1 - Monday to Friday 8am-4pm and every Third weekend (variable hours)
Position 2 - Monday to Friday 4pm-9pm. Every second weekend 8am-4pm/4pm-9pm (variable hours)
We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in East Fife. As a Care professional, you will provide a variety of Care and Companionship to help keep clients independent in their own home.

RESPONSIBILITIES :Being a Care Professional is an essential role supporting older people to live well at home. With the support of our team and industry leading training, you can feel fully equipped to deliver the high-quality care Home Instead has become known for. Here's what it would involve:
* Minimum 1-hour visits
* Introductions to all new clients
* Visiting the same Clients for continuity of care and to allow you to build up a meaningful relationships
* Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
* Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
* Accompanying to appointments or shopping
* Personal Care - Supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent.
Experience
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
* Strong communication skills in English are required to interact with residents and their families effectively.
* Basic IT skills are necessary for maintaining records and using care management software.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients or travelling between locations.

Qualifications
You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Care Assistant as full training is given. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience.
