We have an exciting opportunity to join Sheffield City Council as an Assistant Project Manager within the Housing Service.
As an Assistant Project Manager for the Housing Fire Safety Team, you will support the service safety across our Council homes, which include a diverse mix of high-rise flats, low-risk flats, older persons schemes, maisonettes, and sundry properties.
You will focus on property structure and maintenance, fire strategies, building compliance obligations, and customer safety in our properties. You will engage customers in the safe management of their property, as well as work with other stakeholders, e.g., internal Local Authorities, partners, and Fire and Rescue Services. You’ll ensure quality and control measures are in place to ensure a safe environment for us and our customers.
We are looking for:

* Commitment to exceptional customer service
* Leaders to support and deliver continual improvement, innovation, and transformational change
* Excellent commercial, financial, and business planning skills, plus experience in people management to recruit, motivate, and support teams
* Experience in Fire Safety in a residential setting is desirable
