GUEST EXPERIENCE HOST (Fixed term contract)
£11.44 per hour (plus tips)
Founded in 2011, The Lakes Distillery has an ambitious vision to become a luxury single malt whisky business. Having reached a significant point in our growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Guest Experience Host to join our team on the next phase of our journey, initially on a three-month rolling contract.
Working mostly day-time hours with occasional high-end evening events, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences to a wide variety of guests across three site business units tours, retail, and front of house. From a warm welcome on their arrival, to guiding guests through our Distillery on tours, helping with purchases in our on-site retail store or serving in the bistro, you will be an integral part of our on-site guest experience operation.
This role is ideal for committed hospitality professionals looking to join a progressive and ambitious team at a pivotal point in our Lakes story.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsible for, but not limited to:
* Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Brand Home guest experience by consistently delivering exceptional guest experiences both during day-to-day service and events.
* Educating our guests on our products, processes, and The Lakes Distillery brand.
* Following all policies and procedures set out to achieve the site-wide guest experience strategy.
* Attending all meetings and training sessions as required, and completing all necessary training courses.
* Supporting all health and safety and food hygiene initiatives, ensuring the appropriate legislation and requirements are followed.
* Ensuring the site is kept in immaculate condition to the standards of a Visit England Gold Award winner.
* Undertake any reasonable management requests

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Minimum 1 years experience in a guest-focussed hospitality role is preferred
* Ability to easily commute and work a varied rota/shift pattern is required
* Ability to work as part of a wider business team as well as under own initiative
* Must have the right to work within the United Kingdom (required)
