I am working with a well-establish Scottish firm on strengthening their central Edinburgh office. This role will fall into the Accounts & Assurance team and service a varied client base which is inclusive of but not limited to partnerships, SMEs and limited companies, high net worth individuals and sole traders. The team is fluid, collaborative and supportive such that candidates of varying levels of experience will be considered – if your experience lies in a regional practice with similar clients then you will certainly be considered.
Responsibilities:
* Statutory accounts preparation
* Preparation of management accounts
* VAT returns, business and personal tax returns
* Auditing key client accounts
* Acting as a client contact in addressing ad hoc needs and ensuring timely delivery
Qualifications:
* ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent
* Strong, demonstrable accounts and audit experience
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
* Client-facing experience gained within a regional practice environment
