They are seeking a cover supervisor to work on a full-time basis leading a Year 3 class of SEMH & ASD students. This wonderful school looks after a range of special needs but primarily are focused around SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs). The school is beautiful and very well established with exciting changes coming to the school over the next year. The Role This role is a full-time position, where the successful candidate will be expected to lead a class of Year 3 students being ably supported by a couple of TA's. The role would be leading lessons of pre-planned cover so it is important you feel confident leading a group of students. Due to the needs of the students it is essential that you have experience in dealing with challenging behaviour and have worked with SEMH/ASD students before. They are open to applications from a range of different candidates, so whether you're an experienced SEN TA looking for a role with more responsibility or an unqualified teacher looking for more experience - please apply You will be expected to: Be adaptable and flexible around the needs of the pupils. Have good experience of working with SEMH/ASD.
