JOB TITLE: Stock Control Clerk
LOCATION: Telford
HOURS: Monday - Friday 06:00 - 14:00 and 22:00 weekly rotational shifts, 37.5 hours per week*
A new opportunity in our recently built warehouse has arisen, The Epwin Window division is looking for an individual with an interest in inventory/stock control of goods.
You will be part of a highly knowledgeable team that will help make the transition into the company a breeze, reporting to the stock supervisor you will be a highly valued member of the team and will also have a say on improvements required to better the day-to-day tasks. Job Purpose:
To help improve and maintain the integrity of our stock portfolio across multiple sites using “Microsoft Dynamics Navision” (WMS). Additionally improve efficiency within the current team to safeguards stock and operational processes.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Maintain inventory control practice’s
2. Conduct PI counts & assist in stock takes.
3. Assisting in checking the correctness and condition of Customer orders.
4. Investigate customer order discrepancies
5. Assisting with stock-taking activities
6. Supporting the Operation in the course of their duties.
7. Keeping detailed records of shortages and damage items
8. Encourage a positive and engaged workforce culture within your team/department.
9. Operate with the highest levels of integrity, support, and cooperation with your team, peers, and other internal and external contacts.
10. Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
11. Represent the organisation in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.
12. Follow all company health & safety requirements.
Key Experiences and Skills Required:
13. At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred.
14. Basic knowledge of using an ERP system may be beneficial.
15. MHE driving experience, not essential but would also be beneficial
16. A friendly and hard-working disposition.
17. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
18. Excel knowledge – basic/intermediate user

*Typically, Monday - Friday but there may be initial periods of 5 in 7 days to support with stocktakes and other business requirements.
