The role:
As a HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our PA and Support functions. In this role, you will work closely with leadership and key stakeholders to drive HR initiatives, support employee engagement, and deliver efficient HR operations to enhance the business performance.
You will manage a small team of HR professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and supporting to ensure high quality service delivery across the business.
Key responsibilities:
* Act as a trusted advisor to leaders in PA and Support functions, providing expert HR advice across the employee journey, including employee relations, performance management, talent management, and organizational development
* Collaborate with the leadership teams to identify HR needs and align people strategies with business goals
* Support workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning to ensure teams are future ready
* Oversee performance management processes and provide guidance on setting goals, conducting reviews, and managing underperformance
* Ensure compliance with employment law, company policies, and HR best practices
* Working closely with the Employee Experience Manager to implement and drive employee engagement initiatives to ensure alignment between employee experience initiatives and business objectives, making improvements where necessary to enhance overall employee engagement
* Support with the design of learning and development programs that enhance the skills and career progression of our people
* Collaborate with the Recruitment team to ensure that the talent acquisition strategies are aligned with the business needs, providing support where necessary, for example assisting with interviews
* Facilitate change management processes and support organizational transformation initiatives as required
* Manage and support direct reports, ensuring they have clear goals, development plans and are delivering a high:quality HR service
* Foster a collaborative and high:performance culture within the People team, providing ongoing feedback and coaching
* Provide HR metrics, insights and recommendations to leadership to inform business decisions
* Monitor and report on key HR performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and areas for improvement
The person:
* Super smiley and positive, demonstrating a real love and knowledge of HR, or people operations with a strong operational HR or employee relations background
* Strong understanding of HR policies, employment law, and best practices within the UK
* Experience in managing employee relations, employment tribunals and performance management issues
* Ability to analyze and interpret data into meaningful insights, trends and areas of improvement
* Ability to create reports and communicate results in an accessible way to colleagues at all levels
* Familiarity with key HR metrics, such as engagement, retention, turnover and satisfaction
* Strong understanding of current and emerging HR best practices and legislation and how this can be implemented, with a good working knowledge and active interest in Employee Engagement and Reward practices
* Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or HR analytics platforms) to track and report on HR metrics
