We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a very supportive Primary School in Sutton Coldfield. About the Role: We are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to support KS1 classes, ensuring students receive the guidance and encouragement they need to thrive. Working closely with the class teacher, you’ll help create engaging, inclusive lessons and maintain the smooth operation of classroom activities. Position Details:
* Start Date: Feb 2025
* Duration: Long-term, until July 2025
* Salary: Based on experience, training, or qualifications.
To be eligible for this role, you should have prior experience in a primary school setting. Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the class teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons.
* Provide individualised or small-group support to enhance learning outcomes.
* Promote positive behavior and engagement within the classroom.
* Implement strategies to support the diverse needs of all students.
* Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment that encourages student confidence and independence.

* Experience working with young children in a classroom setting (preferably KS1).
* A patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children’s education.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) or equivalent experience (desirable but not essential).
