Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Nurse to join our Gynaecology and Bladder and Bowel services, to lead and develop women's health care and nurse-led services. This is a substantive 8a post based at The Grange University Hospital with an expectation to travel to other Local General Hospital sites across the Health Board. This will support service delivery for inpatient gynaecology services, Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit, Emergency Gynaecology Assessment Unit, Ambulatory Unit, and Nurse-Led bladder and bowel Services.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and motivated nurse who will work closely with the Service Manager for obstetric gynaecology, bladder and bowel services, and the Head of Midwifery and Gynaecology and corporate nursing team to provide leadership and day-to-day professional and managerial responsibilities for the gynaecology and bladder and bowel teams across the acute and community sites.

* Providing professional, clinical, and visible leadership, and supporting registered and non-registered staff to deliver high-quality care within the speciality of gynaecology and bladder and bowel services.
* Ensure that the Health Board's aims and priorities are clearly communicated to relevant staff, initiating dialogue to ensure contributions can be made to operational plans.
* Effectively support, manage, and develop the patient experience agenda, concerns management, and governance and risk within the service, to ensure continuous improvement and professional excellence.
