They are considered part of the medium/heavy industry and some of the machines you will be working on include slitters, presses, sheers, blanking lines, cranes and more machinery. You will need to have good knowledge of working with 3-phase motors, contactors, sensors, relays etc. PLC knowledge isn’t a deal breaker. They would consider mechanically bias with electrical skills also.
