As a Soft Services Supervisor at Sodexo in Avon & Somerset Police HQ, you'll supervise Cleaning & Catering services to create a safe and healthy environment. You'll interact with your team and our clients daily, improving the quality of life for everyone you meet!
What you’ll do:
* Support the General Services manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring facilities are well maintained and meet all safety and compliance standards.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the facilities operation.
* Lead and manage a team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
* Assist in preparing and managing budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. You will be utilizing Kronos and E-Profit.
* Ensure all food service staff are working to maintain and deliver a quality service according to set work schedules and procedures.
* Undertake the monitoring of quality control systems e.g. temperatures, job sign off sheets.
* Ensure all aspects of the preparation of food service areas and presentation of food are to the notified standard.
* Implement and monitor health and safety protocols, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
* Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
* Ensure all food service assistants are in the correct uniform and promote a good company image.
* Manage the site security team in line with Sodexo site procedures.
* Work with the cleaning team, ensuring the operational aspects of the service are adequately covered.
* Work with the catering team, ensuring excellent service delivery.
What you bring:
* Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, as well as some team leading experience.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed.
* Be a team player and take instruction.
