Job Description Job Title: Sales Estimator Location: Leatherhead, Surrey Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for site visits and will be responsible for providing accurate estimates, offering expert advice, and helping our customers make informed decisions regarding their home improvement projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of glazing and fenestration including conservatories. Key Responsibilities: • Act as the first point of contact for site visits, providing excellent customer service and expert advice on home improvement projects, primarily windows, doors, conservatories, orangeries, and garden rooms. • Assess client requirements, survey properties, and provide accurate estimates and quotations. • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and projects are accurately estimated. • Prepare detailed and accurate sales estimates for a range of home improvement products and services. • Work closely with the installation team to ensure the accurate implementation of estimates and the smooth delivery of projects. • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials are quoted and available in line with customer requirements. • Attend meetings and follow-ups with clients as needed, offering advice and guidance throughout the sales process. • Keep accurate records of all site visits, estimates, and customer interactions. • Represent the company professionally during site visits, ensuring a positive customer experience. • Occasionally work on Saturdays by appointment as necessary. Desired Skills and Experience: • Previous experience in sales estimation, preferably within the conservatory or glazing industry. • Strong knowledge of fenestration products, including windows, doors, and conservatories. • Ability to accurately assess customer requirements and provide clear and concise estimates. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach. • Self-motivation with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently. • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. • A strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records. • Full UK driving license is required for site visits. Working Hours: • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. • Some Saturdays by appointment.
