Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal
Cedarwood Vets is a welcoming, single-site small animal practice where we primarily care for cats, dogs, small furries, and exotics. Our practice is thoughtfully designed featuring 4 consult rooms (including a large nurse room), a well-equipped theatre, an X-ray/ultrasound room, a spacious prep area, a dedicated dental room, an isolation ward, separate cat and dog wards, and a large reception area with distinct waiting areas for cats and dogs. We also have a comfortable staff room, laundry facilities, and a kitchen. Following a recent remodel of our reception and staff spaces, we’re excited to further upgrade our cat and dog wards this February.
Our surgical cases are diverse, ranging from neuters and soft tissue procedures to orthopaedics, dentistry, and an opportunity to include cardiac cases. While we handle the majority of cases on-site, we have referral options available for more complex needs. Our team includes certificate holders in cardiology, dentistry, exotics, and RVNs with expertise in emergency and critical care.
Our dedicated RVNs also run a variety of nurse clinics, including health checks, dental care, weight clinics, second vaccinations, nail trims, Librela/Cytopoint administration, wellness clinics, and more. There’s even scope to introduce specialised services like diabetes and mobility clinics or host puppy parties.
We’re proud to give back to the community by collaborating with organizations like the RSPCA, Guide Dogs, and StreetVet.
