Job responsibilities THE DOVE RIVER PRACTICE JOB DESCRIPTION PRACTICE RECEPTIONIST - 29.5 hours per week The post is part-time 29.5 hours per week. You will be working for Drs Gilchrist and Fulford at the Dove River Practice, Tutbury Health Centre, Monk Street, Tutbury, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, DE13 9NA ( branch site) ; Tel: 01283 812455. Salary: Dove River Practice pay rate Grade 2 Hours: 29.5 hours per week. Holiday and sickness cover, which will raise the hours you normally do. You may be asked on occasions to work at the Sudbury Surgery as business needs arise. Responsible to: The Operations Manager Duties: To provide a professional and welcoming reception service for all patients and visitors to the Practice. To provide information to callers and visitors, or refer on to other sources as appropriate Dealing with patient queries via phone or face to face. Booking & amending appointments. Check NHS Net and Outlook emails daily and action as required. Dealing with patient enquiries and if necessary to pass them to most appropriate clinician/team. Handling prescriptions and prescription enquiries. Liaise with other healthcare professionals via email or telephone. Electronic filing of patient reports, results and documents. Opening post, sorting letters. Support all clinical staff/management with general tasks as requested. To carry out any other reception duties reasonably required by the Doctors. We have a Dress Code Policy that will require you to wear a blouse which is provided by the Practice.
