We are seeking a permanent Finance Assistant to join us in our Alton office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing and dynamic team.
The Finance Assistant will report directly to the Finance Manager and support the wider team ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining effective financial management practices.
This role would be ideally suited to a a part-qualified accountant (AAT or equivalent) with all round experience who is eager to develop their skills and grow within the company.
Salary quoted based on full-time hours.

The Role
* Maintaining Sales and Purchase ledgers
* Cashbook postings and reconciliations. Addressing any discrepancies
* Assist team with project fee reviews and reconciliations
* Preparation of new supplier request information.
* Update and maintain client account records.
* Assist in the preparation and issue of fee invoices.
* Credit control including query resolution
* Review and process employee expense claims, ensuring adherence to company policies.
* Provide assistance with payroll processing as needed.
* Assisting in production of monthly management accounts.
* Cover Finance Manager responsibility during their absence.
* Ad hoc cost analysis when required.
* Support in preparation of VAT returns.
