Reporting to the Reward and Recognition Business Partner, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering our reward strategy. You will help ensure that our people are rewarded fairly, recognised for their contributions, and motivated to continue providing excellent service to our communities. Responsibilities In this role, you will: support the Reward and Recognition Business Partner in designing and implementing effective reward and recognition initiatives that align with WMFS priorities contribute to the ongoing development of a recognition plan that includes both formal and informal methods at local and organisation-wide levels help establish a clear framework for recognising individual and team achievements, ensuring processes are structured and contribute to a positive workplace culture work closely with Internal Communications to promote awareness of reward and recognition programmes, ensuring information is accessible across multiple channels assist in maintaining a clear pay and grading structure, ensuring governance processes uphold pay integrity provide advice on internal job evaluation processes and external pay benchmarking exercises collaborate with Workforce Planning and People Systems teams to analyse pay, reward, and recognition data through a diversity and inclusion lens monitor trends in reward and recognition, evaluating options and making recommendations to help WMFS attract and retain talent ensure all reward and recognition initiatives are inclusive and contribute to a positive and supportive workplace culture review and manage employee benefits platforms, ensuring they remain cost-effective and provide the best possible offering for our workforce. Essential skills or experience experience in a similar role, ideally within the public sector proven experience in contributing to reward and recognition strategies across diverse and dispersed workforces excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with different stakeholders experience of working with trade unions and managing discussions related to pay and benefits ability to challenge existing processes and drive improvements in reward and recognition initiatives previous experience of successfully implementing reward and recognition initiatives in an organisation.
