As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you'll help residents to truly get the most out of life, and in return, we'll support you in your career. We're looking for Assistants at all levels to provide domiciliary, residential, nursing, and dementia care as required. You can count on a thorough induction when you start, along with ongoing training and development, including access to apprenticeships and our online portal with various resources and free access to LinkedIn's online learning platform. Responsibilities: Assisting residents with personal care duties such as bathing, dressing, and continence care in their homes within the Village, maintaining their dignity and independence. Supporting at mealtimes, serving meals, and assisting residents as needed. Promoting residents' mental and physical activity through hobbies and interests. Responding to emergency calls from the care alert system. Collaborating with the Domiciliary Care Manager and other professionals like GPs and Occupational Therapists. Maintaining accurate records and documentation of care, activities, and health changes. Key Skills / Qualifications: You have experience in a care or dementia setting or a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Above all, you're passionate about caring for others, respecting choices, and prioritizing safety. You're a great listener with a positive outlook, confident in communicating with residents and families, and understand the importance of confidentiality.
