Account Manager - Lexology Intelligence

Description
This role is responsible for managing a high value portfolio of clients and to optimise our renewal rates by volume and value. You will use your proven relationship, management and negotiation skills to grow our client base and identify the needs of our clients and offer tailored solutions and services. You will have a deep understanding of the product, the personas we sell to, the products application to these clients in the respective sector and adhere to best practice through a rigorous sales process. You will need to work in partnership with our Client Services team to ensure the client receives an excellent experience throughout the client life cycle, taking full accountability for the health of your book of business.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop strong relationships with existing customers monitoring their purchases to provide opportunities for upselling
• Work with Client Services team to carry out the activities through the client life-cycle to increase renewal rates by volume and value
• Development and implementation of client sales plans for products and territories to meet your sales targets
• Identify opportunities to upsell and upgrade by mapping out book of business and respective whitespace
• Support our product development function by suggesting new ideas and garnering client feedback where appropriate and in the launch process of new products
• Develop strong relationships with existing customers at conferences and product demonstrations
• Assist with creation of proposals and sales pitches for new products to upsell existing clients
• Deliver client analytics and reporting both internally & externally
• Update the CRM to ensure the CRM accurately reflects your sales activity through the buying stage to move Leads and Opportunities to Closed Won or Closed Lost status
• Ensure your clients have signed contract and orders are processed in accordance with GDPR regulations
• Work closely with the product development team to manage and complete projects.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise

• Ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external
• Good knowledge of the legal & professional services sector
• International outlook
• Ability to communicate effectively on the phone, by email and in person to senior stakeholders
• Ability to present performance to internal stakeholders
• Commercial responsibility for book of business
• Proven track record of delivering growth
