Robert Half is currently engaging with a creative agency that is looking to recruit a contract Mac support engineer for an initial 3-6 month period with a view to going permanent.
Role:
1. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients using Mac devices.
2. Install, configure, and maintain Mac operating systems and software applications.
3. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on Mac devices.
4. Set up, configure and deploy Mac devices, including peripherals and network connections.
5. Collaborate with clients to understand their IT requirements and provide tailored solutions.
6. Document support activities, including resolutions and recommendations, for future reference.
7. Stay updated on the latest Mac operating systems, software applications, and technologies.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures related to Mac support.
Responsibilities:
9. 3+ years experience as a Mac Support Engineer
10. In-depth knowledge of Mac operating systems, including macOS and iOS.
11. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues on Mac devices.
12. Experience with Mac deployment and management tools, such as Jamf Pro.
13. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients.
14. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
15. Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
16. Relevant certifications, such as Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), are a plus.
