A hybrid opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant – German Speaker to join a well-established software organisation based in Maidenhead.
This is a key role within the finance team and will assist in all month end reporting tasks.

Responsibilities:
1. Production of full management accounts
2. Take ownership of month-end closing including balance sheet reconciliations for all areas including calculating, posting and reconciling accrued and deferred revenue
3. Be aware of intercompany transactions and the impact on the financial statements and be able to reconcile between intercompany accounts
4. Revenue accounting such as accruals
5. Supervision of two accounts assistants based in Germany
6. Assisting with process expense reports
7. Bank reconciliations
8. Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
9. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and ensure payments are up to date
10. Maintain vendor files and liaise with vendors as needed, resolving queries
Requirements:
11. Finance System experience (NetSuite ideal)
12. German speaking
13. Bookkeeping experience and knowledge of P&L vs Balance Sheet transactions
14. Awareness and understanding of revenue recognition accounting standards
15. Strong Excel skills
16. Discreet when exposed to confidential information
