CNC Machinist with a background in component / Mechanical / Machining manufacturing.environment setting and operating both Mills and Lathes

Duties will include
* Setting up and ensuring relevant program is ready to run on either a CNC lathe or VMC
* CNC Turning
* You will be operating both Lathes and Milling Machines
* Running machines concurrently
* Ensure components are produced to specified tolerances from technical drawings
* Inspect components using various measuring equipment such as verniers, thread gauges, callipers, micrometres etc.
* Debur components across a range of materials
* Report any anomalies to the Machine Shop Manager
* Work with Quality Inspection Department during component manufacture.
* Maintain a clean and tidy environment and maintained company standards
* Carry out weekly clean of your assigned CNC machines.

The Person
You will have experience working within a component manufacturing environment ideally with some machine setting and operating knowledge. An engineering qualification.
* HNC/HND/NVQ in mechanical engineering
* Setting and Operating Milling and Turing Machines
* Read engineering drawings
* Knowledge of Verniers, thread gauges, callipers, micrometres etc.
* Deburring
* Quality control and Inspection
* Live within easy commute of Camberley. Not looking for a relocator
