Career Teachers is seeking 3 qualified Learning Support Assistants to join our team of dedicated supply staff at a Multi-Academy Trust based in Pontefract.
The successful candidates will work as Learning Support Assistants, supporting the teaching and learning of Maths and English under the direction of teaching staff. The role is to promote the learning and welfare of students by providing practical and learning support, including to those with statements of special educational needs, under the direction of the class teacher.
These are temporary positions. The working pattern is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:
1. Supporting pupils' learning and attending to their personal needs in order to support teaching and learning in the classroom and across the school.
2. Supporting the preparation, planning, and implementation of individual and group learning activities and intervention programmes.
3. Working with pupils who have additional needs when required.
It would be advantageous if you:
1. Hold a childcare qualification such as CACHE Level 3.
2. Have previous experience working as a classroom Teaching Assistant.
3. Have experience working with children with additional needs.

All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
