About Tall Ships Youth Trust
Tall Ships Youth Trust (TSYT) is a national youth development and outdoor learning charity that supports young people to develop essential life skills and broaden their opportunities. Our voyages enable young people to develop the life skills, social skills, confidence, and self-esteem needed to raise their aspirations and make positive life choices.
We give around 1,200 young people from across the UK a life-changing experience every year. Approximately 80% of those we support are facing adversity in their daily lives, this is from personal circumstances and lived experiences, to additional needs that at times are not met. Post-Covid, the world is far more aware of the individual challenges faced by so many, as more and more young people struggle with their mental and physical health, neurodiversity, barriers to learning, as well as aspects of geographical, economic and social disadvantages.
Our team is friendly and welcoming, and we are committed to work-life balance for staff. We are all motivated by the charity’s aim of giving young people from disadvantaged backgrounds life-changing experiences out on the ocean through our new three-voyage programme. We offer hybrid working, with presence at our Portsmouth Hub. This role offers plenty of opportunities to get on board our Challenger yachts and meet with our crews and young people at the end of voyages to experience what we deliver first-hand.
What We Offer
* Full time role
* Flexible, hybrid working (3-days in our Portsmouth office, 2 days home working per week).
* 25 days annual holiday entitlement, increasing with length of service, plus bank holidays.
* Death in service insurance.
* Opportunities to spend time on the vessels.
* Discounted local parking permit.
If you’re a digital-savvy marketeer with a creative mindset and a passion for purpose-led work, we’d love to hear from you!
