Position: Secondary School Science Technician
Veritas Education Leeds is looking for a motivated, skilled, and enthusiastic Science Technician to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of one of our partner schools' state-of-the-art science departments, supporting teachers and students in delivering high-quality science education.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with the preparation and setup of practical science lessons.
2. Maintain and organize laboratory equipment and materials.
3. Ensure safety standards are adhered to within the science department.
4. Support the teaching staff in delivering hands-on practical experiments.
5. Manage inventory and order supplies when needed.
6. Maintain a safe and clean working environment in the laboratories.
About You:
1. A passion for science and education.
2. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
3. Experience in a similar role or a relevant qualification in science is desirable, but not essential.
4. A strong team player with the ability to work independently.
5. A proactive attitude with the ability to think on your feet.
