The Health at Work Service at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust is nationally accredited as a Safe, Effective, Occupational Health Service (SEQOHS).

In addition, you will receive a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £1,258 and a maximum payment of £2,121 pro rata.

Main duties of the job
1. Provide health at work advice that aims to protect and promote health and wellbeing of employees of a variety of organisations.
2. Provide clear impartial advice to both managers and employees to optimise health and wellbeing at work, reduce sickness absence and prevent work-related ill health and injury.
3. Advise East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust and external clients on strategies to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
4. Assist the health at work team to provide, maintain and develop a first-class health at work service.
5. Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety amongst staff in line with current legislation.
6. Promote and implement health at work initiatives.
7. Participate in meetings pertaining to health at work matters.
8. Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, protocol and standards of practice.
