Your Impact In The Role:
As a Senior Audit Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting L&Q’s compliance with statutory and industry regulations through effective data analytics and risk management. Your responsibilities will include:
Lead and Execute Data-Driven Audits: Apply your data analysis expertise using tools like Excel, Power BI, and SQL to deliver high-quality audit insights. You’ll complete data-driven audit assignments focusing on key risk areas and control frameworks, with impactful, actionable recommendations.
Audit Planning and Execution: Execute assigned audit tasks as part of L&Q’s internal audit strategy, ensuring alignment with governance standards and contributing to continuous improvement in compliance and risk management.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Engage with senior management to communicate audit outcomes, providing recommendations that promote compliance and positive change. You’ll foster productive relationships across teams, supporting informed decision-making.
Continuous Improvement and Risk Mitigation: Actively participate in the testing, evaluation, and enhancement of internal controls, ensuring L&Q’s processes are efficient, regulatory-compliant, and aligned with the organisation's objectives.
Counter-Fraud, Bribery, and Corruption Awareness: Support investigations into fraud, bribery, and corruption incidents, contributing to L&Q’s efforts in upholding ethical standards and risk management.
What You'll Bring:
Data Analytics Expertise: Proven experience in data analytics, with advanced skills in Excel and Power BI; knowledge of SQL or similar data tools is highly advantageous.
Internal Audit Experience and Qualification: Experience in Internal Audit, with a qualification or active progress towards completing one. Alternatively, a strong interest in transitioning into Internal Audit, with a commitment to studying for an Internal Audit qualification.
Technical and Analytical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, data-driven audit reports that support business decisions and foster effective risk management.
Effective Communication and Influence: Strong ability to communicate audit findings and influence decision-makers, including directors and senior managers.
Organisational Skills: Exceptional planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
Counter-Fraud and Investigation Experience: Knowledge or experience in counter-fraud, bribery, and corruption, with the ability to participate in investigative activities.
