We are now looking for a Key Account Manager to join our Water and Waste Global Sales team working for a better future. The preferred location for the position is in Poole, Dorset. In this position, you will be accountable for delivering sales order intake to agreed business targets for water & waste products from designated Key Accounts. Your work will focus on the following responsibilities:
1. Actively position the products of the water and waste business through key account management activities.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with external key account customers and commercial partners.
3. Develop and maintain accurate contact/organisational information on each key account with a particular focus on decision-making structure.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to assist in the delivery of business goals.
5. Ensure the company CRM system is maintained with accurate information to provide sales pipeline data.
6. Adhere to all process gates and workflows requirements in the execution of the job function.
7. Support broader sales and marketing activities by attending industry events, exhibitions, and shows.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in sales management, with a minimum of 5 years in a sales role.
2. Network in the maritime industry with a good understanding of stakeholders in the sales process.
3. Very good negotiation and communication skills, with fluency in English.
4. Deep understanding of sales strategies and dynamics within the maritime sectors.
5. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with a wide range of differing cultural backgrounds.
6. Willingness to travel as required within the designated region and internationally, approximately 40% of your working time.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
