SEND Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work closely with children on a 1:1 basis who require tailored support to manage complex behavioural challenges in a SEND school in Chester.
This is a full-time, long-term role with the opportunity to be taken on a permanent contract for the right candidate.
Due to the nature of this role, you must have experience supporting young people with Special Educational Needs such as Autism, Dyslexia, and ADHD above the age of 11 years.
This SEND Teaching Assistant role will involve supporting the class teacher with various tasks, including keeping all students on task and ensuring that their work is completed to a good standard.
You will be responsible for preparing resources for the day and ensuring the classroom is kept clean and tidy.
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Supporting with Learning and Development
2. Working on a 1:1 and small group basis
3. Encouraging, supporting, and de-escalating students
We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant who is:

5. Education-related qualification preferred but not essential
