Assistant Branch Manager - Electrical Wholesale

My client is a small independent Electrical Wholesaler in The Midlands. They are looking for an Assistant Branch Manager for their Coalville Branch.
Job Description:
As Assistant Manager, you will support the Business Manager, work with them to increase the sales and profitability of the branch, help complete some of the day-to-day branch operations, and cover for them when needed.
You will be crucial in driving the performance of the staff through frequent reviews and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and provide training and guidance to help develop the team.
Working with the Manager and Sales team, you will organize promotions, offers, and breakfast mornings with suppliers, marketing these strategies to grow sales and customer footfall. You will also ensure customers spend regularly throughout the year.
You will manage operations within the branch, organizing schedules, inventory, and ensuring the branch runs smoothly. This includes stock management and overseeing warehouse functions, working with the manager to ensure the company meets its monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs.
Help maintain the company's high standards in customer service by responding to customer queries, grievances, and monitoring customer satisfaction. This includes all sales activities, such as face-to-face interactions, phone communications, and managing various sales accounts via email.
You will be responsible for preparing quotations, progressing them, and managing sales and accounts while liaising with all branch members to ensure the best customer service possible.
Minimum Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience within Electrical Wholesaling.
