Receptionist - Clinical Investigations Unit
We are seeking a dedicated individual to work on the front line of the Clinical Investigation Unit at Wexham Park Hospital for Frimley Health.
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering a seamless service to both patients and staff within the cardiology department. You will provide high-quality support, ensuring outpatient reception areas operate efficiently. Your responsibilities will include greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner while delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Main duties of the job
Clinic Preparation Function
* To develop and maintain effective working relationships with all Trust staff including clinicians, nursing staff and Directorate administration staff to provide an accurate, efficient, professional and seamless service to patients and visitors.
* To ensure patient case notes and clinic lists are available before the commencement of the clinic.
* To check patient details are correct and amend or update details on EPIC when necessary in accordance to standards set by Information Governance.

Essential criteria
* GSCE English or equivalent
* Good IT skills. Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Skills
Essential criteria
* Good administrative skills, organised and methodical, with good attention to detail including spelling, grammar and accuracy.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Able to remain calm under pressure when working in a busy environment.
* Ability to work on own initiative, and also as part of a team, self-motivated, flexible approach.
Desirable criteria
* Knowledge/use of EPIC.
Experience
Essential criteria
* Dealing with the public/customer service.
* Previous clerical experience.
* Ability to adapt using different systems as appropriate.
