Bar Manager, Cantina - Menorca Fixed Term Contract, seasonal role, May - October based in Menorca. Opportunity to work in Switzerland during the Winter season. Must have EU right to work and be a Spanish speaker. Your Role As our Bar Manager of Cantina, Menorca you’ll be inspiring and coaching our team, leading by example and providing warm and genuine service. As a key member of our Senior F&B team,, you will find opportunities to continue to grow while bringing your own service experience enabling us to continue to be a well-recognised community-centred venue for quality cocktails, coffees, events and food. Daily duties include opening and closing the bar, cashing up, managing and training your team. Beyond this you’ll hold responsibility for the bar’s finances, stock control and people budget but more importantly, you will create exceptional service, create warm hospitality and grow a knowledgeable, confident team. It is always our duty to share our passion and knowledge with our guests and colleagues so we are looking for someone who enjoys hospitality and not just service. You will be operational and hand on in this role, leading by example in service, hosting and managing. About Cantina Cantina is located adjacent to Hauser & Wirth Menorca on Illa del Rei, an island off Mahon Harbour which is home to a decommissioned 18th-century naval hospital and a group of outbuildings. While the restaurant kitchen is located in the 18th-century building that once housed the hospital’s cooking area, the restaurant and bar are outdoors. The tables are found shaded amid an olive-tree forest and with views of the surrounding nature and harbour.
