Are you an experienced welder or someone who would love the chance to become a trainee Welder? This is an excellent opportunity to join our client's growing team.
As a Welder, you will be responsible for undertaking welding/production activities as part of our client's manufacturing operation.
Key Duties:
1. Undertake production activities as required ensuring that products are accurately manufactured in an effective and timely manner.
2. Seek to continuously improve the production processes to extend efficiency, quality, and meet the changing needs of the business.
3. Sustain a high standard of housekeeping/maintenance to ensure efficiency.
4. Undertake site installation activities for product training purposes.
5. Adhere to quality and health and safety procedures.
6. Engage in personal training and development to ensure personal and business success.
You will ideally have some previous experience within welding or have undergone welding qualification/training either at college or as an apprentice.
Hours: 39 over 4 days, Monday – Wednesday 7am – 5.30pm, Thursday 7am – 4.30pm with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break. Possible overtime on Fridays during peak periods.
Salary: Hourly salary of £11.58 with a £3 per hour enhancement if you are a coded welder, with overtime being paid at time and a half.
