Lettings Manager - Wellingborough, Northamptonshire The Package Basic Salary: £33,000 - £35,000On Target Earnings: £45,000 Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the lettings department, including building, supervising and motivating a team of staff. Drive property listings growth through networking, relationship building, and implementing effective marketing strategies. Maintain and strengthen relationships with landlords, providing expert advice and ensuring satisfaction with our services. Oversee tenant application processes, referencing, and tenancy agreements to ensure a seamless lettings experience. Ensure adherence to all legal regulations and industry standards, including health and safety, tenancy law, and GDPR requirements. Monitor and manage the department’s revenue, budgets, and performance targets to achieve and exceed OTE goals. Handle escalated issues with professionalism and efficiency, resolving disputes between landlords and tenants where necessary. Provide regular updates and performance reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and identifying areas for improvement. The Ideal Candidate Proven experience in a Lettings Manager or similar role within the property industry. Strong knowledge of lettings processes, tenancy laws, and industry best practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-focused approach. Proactive, organised, and results-driven with a keen eye for detail. Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (mileage reimbursed at £0.45 per mile).
