Job Purpose:
A key member of the global marketing team, the Digital Marketing Executive, plays a pivotal role, supporting the MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions business and Fernox in optimizing the digital experience. This position encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including website and mobile application management and strategy, data systems optimisation, marketing communications, CRM systems, social media channel support and delivering innovative solutions to meet organisational goals.
The Digital Marketing Executive acts as the primary point of contact for internal and external queries related to digital platforms and services, often deputising for the Senior Digital Manager. This role is integral to driving the company’s digital initiatives forward and ensuring operational excellence across multiple systems and platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
Website Management
* Working with a range of internal stakeholders, be instrumental working in partnership with a digital agency for a new Drupal website project to replace the current businesses WordPress platform. Focusing on content migration and UX for the new TLD (Top Level Domain)
* Oversee the management of 21 websites, ensuring functionality, performance, and content accuracy.
* Develop and implement templates for product pages and landing pages.
* Maintain and update product lists, ensuring proper functionality of product import systems.
* Create new pages and landing pages to support marketing campaigns and product launches.
* Implement and manage automatic translation functionalities.
* Regularly add blog posts, news articles, and other content to enhance engagement and SEO.
* Research, identify, and integrate innovative tools and solutions
Mobile Applications
* Provide day-to-day support for colleagues and customer requests related to mobile applications.
* Develop custom reports and workflows to meet client and internal needs.
* Manage access and permissions for users.
* Create comprehensive guide documentation for both the current app and the new Fernox app.
* Conduct demonstrations of mobile applications for clients and stakeholders.
* Attend in-person customer meetings to demonstrate the mobile applications, as well as trade shows.

Analytics and Reporting
* Generate monthly statistics and performance reports for mobile applications and websites.
* Analyse Google Analytics data to identify opportunities for website optimisation, traffic growth, and conversion improvements.
* Partner with Digital Analytics Manager on insights and enhancement opportunities for digital growth.
Email Marketing
* Assist in the creation and refinement of email templates to support marketing campaigns.
Training and Documentation
* Create and distribute user guides, demo videos, and documentation for digital offerings, including mobile apps, loyalty programmes, websites, and data platforms.
* Train employees on new software applications and ensure a collaborative and positive work environment.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration
* Coordinate efforts among marketing, R&D, product management, sales, and management to achieve regional and customer-specific goals.
* Work closely with the Digital Manager and the broader marketing team to develop growth strategies that expand brand awareness and market presence for new and core products.
SEO and Content Management
* Execute core search engine optimisation (SEO) tasks to improve organic performance metrics.
* Manage content distribution across digital platforms, including blogs, news, and product announcements.
Quality Assurance
* Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new websites and mobile applications before internal and public launches.
Requirements & Qualifications:
* A strong digital knowledge base, with a clear understanding of digital trends and the benefits of digital transformation.
* A background in either digital or digital marketing, being able to demonstrate key relevant fundamentals, such project strategy development and execution, digital analytics, and insight-driven optimization across digital properties.
* Strong project management and customer service skills.
* You must be passionate, self-starting, and resourceful with a willingness to work as a part of a small, growing team. This is a fast-paced industry and environment; therefore, you must be self-managed and adaptable to change and growth.
* You must be assertive with exceptional relationship and networking skills. You must have an executive presence and be politically savvy to expand relationships to upper and senior-level management within our strategic projects.
Skills:
* You must be detail-oriented and highly skilled at the Microsoft Office suite of tools.
* You must be able to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of workflow management.
* Website content management system (CMS) experience, such as WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, Magento etc. This should include the ability to create new pages, update product information, post blogs, and make minor changes to other website details.
* Google analytics experience, preferably including GA4.
* Customer relationship management (CRM) experience, such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zoho etc.
* Email marketing experience, such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Pardot, Marketo or similar.
* iOS / Google Play mobile application experience / knowledge advantageous but not essential.
Competencies:
* Insights tool experience such as SEMRush, Similarweb or similar advantageous but not essential.
* There will be some domestic and international travel requirements for internal / customer meetings, and occasional trade show attendance.
Education:
A degree or equivalent is required in marketing, digital marketing, or a similar digital specialism.
