Job Description Influencing organisational culture by championing sustainability, driving innovation and encouraging continuous improvement. Collaborate with suppliers to source local, seasonal, organic, and sustainably produced ingredients. Establish guidelines for ethical procurement, reducing the carbon footprint of food and material supply chains. Provide sustainability training to kitchen staff, and front-line employees. Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international sustainability regulations and certifications. Track and report on sustainability performance metrics, highlighting successes and areas for improvement Qualifications Deep knowledge of sustainability principles, especially within food systems and catering. Strong project management and organisational skills. Excellent communication and training abilities to engage diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in sustainability reporting tools and frameworks. Creative problem-solving skills and ability to innovate eco-friendly solutions. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Minimum 2-4 years of experience in catering, hospitality, or sustainability roles. Proven track record of implementing sustainability programs in food service or related industries.
