The Company:
An Import Merchandiser is needed to join a successful men's and ladies fashion company who supply to high street retailers. You will manage the critical path, shipments and work to long lead times. The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience in a similar role and have worked with Blue Chip Retailers and Supermarkets.
The Role:
1. Work closely with Account Managers on customer accounts, whilst also being part of the Merchandise team managing orders across our stock range.
2. Raise orders on our in-house PLMS system.
3. Manage the critical path for your orders.
4. Liaise with the Account Managers, Shipping, Design and Garment Tech teams to ensure the smooth running of the critical path.
5. Where relevant, order and/or send out labelling and packaging to suppliers.
6. Manage press and photography sample requirements for customer orders.
7. Deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence resolving customer and supplier queries.
8. Generate progress reports.
Skills Required:
1. MUST have a minimum of 5 years experience as an Import Merchandiser.
2. Have experience with liaising with the Far East.
3. Fully computer literate with strong Excel and Word skills.
4. Highly organised, efficient and can work to tight deadlines, within a fast paced environment.
5. Able to follow a critical path.
6. Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
