This client is dedicated to delivering top-tier service and customer satisfaction. Their service department plays a crucial role in maintaining the seamless connection between their engineers and customers. We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Service Coordinator to join their team, ensuring efficient operations and a high standard of customer experience.
The Service Coordinator serves as a vital link between the office and customers. This role focuses on planning and administrative support within the service department while ensuring adaptability to meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a positive, proactive demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively manage both internal and external customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Optimising Engineer’s Time Management:
Efficiently allocate engineers' time, equipment, and skills to minimise downtime and unnecessary travel.
Maintenance Planning and Coordination:
Schedule and coordinate maintenance visits with customers and contractors, including corrective maintenance and emergency engineer response visits. Keep planners updated with relevant information promptly.
Documentation Distribution:
Distribute Operating & Maintenance manuals and data sheets to customers or contractors across all disciplines.
Job Pack Management:
Monitor the return of completed documentation from engineers and report discrepancies to the Team Leader.
Service Level Achievement:
Ensure planned maintenance and monitoring exceed service level expectations.
Effective Communication:
Communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues across all channels. Efficiently manage customer issues post-maintenance..Role Requirements:
