This role presents an excellent opportunity for a skilled Paraplanner to take on additional leadership responsibilities, overseeing a team of five Paraplanners while continuing to provide high-quality technical support to Financial Planners and Advisers. ?? Employment Type: Permanent The Opportunity This position is well-suited to an experienced Senior Paraplanner with a strong technical background who is looking to take the next step in their career. While previous management experience is advantageous, it is not essential; our client is open to individuals with strong mentoring and leadership capabilities who are keen to develop in a management role. Key Responsibilities Technical Paraplanning Support - Conduct in-depth analysis of clients' financial needs, producing robust financial plans and supporting Financial Planners in delivering high-quality advice. Team Leadership & Development - Manage, mentor, and support a team of five Paraplanners and Financial Planning Assistants, fostering professional growth and best practices. Regulatory Compliance - Ensure all work adheres to FCA regulations and internal policies. Business Development - Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the financial planning team. Candidate Requirements Level 6 CII Advanced Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) is essential. Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of financial planning areas. Exceptional attention to detail, analytical ability, and communication skills. A proactive and collaborative approach to leadership, with the ability to mentor and develop team members. Previous management experience is beneficial but not essential—candidates with the aspiration and transferable skills to step into a leadership role will be considered.
